Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the tools, equipment, and work benches in 4 main manufacturing areas of the company: Assembly, Fabrication, Machine Shop, Paint Shop. The Maintenance Technician will utilize an online interface to complete work orders and maintain the work order database as new equipment is purchased or old equipment is decommissioned.

Job Description

• Float between Machine, Fab, and Paint shop and help with maintenance where needed.
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical components.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule.
• Assist team members with routine daily equipment maintenance.
• Inventory control of all maintenance tools and replacement parts.
• Working independently or with additional team members to complete the task at hand.
• Basic knowledge of common hand tools, grinders, various power tools, electric meters, etc.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Comply with all company policies, rules, guidelines and behavior expectations.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Skills Required

• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals.
• Ability to determine necessary tooling/parts needed to perform repair.
• Skilled in the use of proper tooling to perform the maintenance task at hand.
• Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers.
• Excel in a fast-paced work environment.

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two or more years of experience in a shop environment
• Trade or technical school training.

Additional Requirements

• Physical Requirements:
  • Adhere to all PPE requirements.
  • Manual dexterity and sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and crouching.
  • Lifting and/or exerting of force up to 50 pounds frequently and team lifting heavier items.
  • Frequent driving of motor vehicles or mobile equipment.

• Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

Pay Rate/Salary

• $20.00 - $23.00/hr depending on experience. Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skill set and/or location.
