Come join the first Amazon Workers Union in the country! On April 1st, 2022 Amazon workers at the JFK8 facility in Staten Island made history by becoming the first facility to win a union vote against one of the richest, most anti-union corporations in the world.
Amazon Labor Union-IBT Local 1 is looking for individuals passionate about workers’ rights and being part of building a grassroots, militant, worker-led union.
This apprenticeship will help you develop basic and advanced organizing skills through one-on-one mentorship, training on organizing theory, practice, and law, and most importantly direct outreach with workers. Emphasis will be placed on field work.
No experience is needed, just a willingness to listen and learn and the fighting spirit to take on one of the world’s largest corporations. Both full and part time positions are available, start date flexible (though sooner is preferred.) Wage is $19.25/hr, priority will be placed on candidates
willing to commute to Staten Island.
