• Creation of site layout/user interface from provided design concepts
• Development of robust and user-friendly applications.
• Relational database development (MySQL).
• Routine maintenance of existing sites and applications.
• Problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills.
• Write well designed, testable, scalable and efficient code by using best software development practices.
• Create website layout/user interface
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• 5+ years of web development, using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, SQL preferred.
• Candidates should have proven web programming experience as well as a solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming.
• Deep understanding and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript,
• Understanding and practical experience with MVC frameworks such as Laravel.
• Functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST) is needed.
• A solid understanding of web application development processes, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures.
• Strong grasp of security principles.
• Must have a strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
• Understanding the benefits of SEO and the development skills to support SEO are a plus.
• Ability to communicate directly with peers and managers.
• Strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of projects’ timelines and requirements.

Additional Information

• Schedule: Full-time (Monday-Friday, 9am-5:00pm), on-site
• Benefits: We offer a full benefits package
• Salary: In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the annual salary for this position ranges from $65,000.00 to $70,000.00. Which may be increased upon successful completion of the 90th day introductory period.
