Were looking for a Veterinary Assistant who is as passionate about helping clients as they are about helping their furry friends. Essential Job Functions:

• Assist veterinarians with appointments
• Educate clients about wellness and prevention nutrition and individual pet health needs
• Provide highquality service to all clients while maintaining maximum productivity
• Initiate laboratory radiology and treatment procedures
• Prepare and monitor patients before during and after anesthetic procedures
• Administer medications under the direction of a veterinarian
• Anticipate veterinarian and team member needs
• Foster a positive working culture built on our values
• Support a practice environment that promotes collaboration and teamwork and ensures the delivery of quality compassionate effective and efficient health care to pets
• Comply with all practice policies quality assurance guidelines and minimum standards of care

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent computer use for long periods
• Walking/standing for long periods bending reaching grasping and repetitive motions
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs. unassisted

Experience:

Knowledge of Veterinary Medicine is a plus but not required as we will teach you! Experience handling cats and dogs is a must!
