About the Position



A UX Designer or User Experience Designer is responsible for monitoring user experience and ensuring that websites software programs and products are easy to use. C ollaborates with different stakeholders to ensure the product strategy is being f ulfilled. The UI UX Designer works closely with Web Developers UI Designers and other UX Designers to create easy to use and aesthetically pleasing products for customers to engage with. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS



Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems Business Administration or Project Management

Experience

• Three (3) years of working for both web and mobile platforms

OR

• An equivalent combination of postsecondary education and/or jobrelated experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a yearforyear basis.

Other Requirements

• Experience with product management software tools.
• Ability to multitask prioritize and manage across multiple often timesensitive initiatives.
• Ability to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers.

Our Preferred Candidate has

• UX/UI Certification
• Scrum Certification
• Product Owner CSPO
• Agile Certification
• Two years working in an ITrelated field
• Experience working with multiple diverse businesses

ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS

• Identify target user groups and carry out interviews or other types of inquiry to help understand user needs
• Ensure the creation and implementation of customized experiences for the digital user
• Produce highquality solutions through flow diagrams graphic designs storyboards and site maps
• Provide guidance on the implementation of UX research techniques and testing activities to assess user behavior
• Maintain a competitive edge against competitor products and industry trends
• Perform tests on user interface elements such as CTAs layouts target links landing pages and banners
• Understand product specifications and user psychology and predict what might work for both
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills

• Ability to understand business metrics and translate company goals and objectives into digital experiences
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicate ideas to developers
• Knowledge of industry tools like Adobe Zeplin OmniGraffle Illustrator and Sketch
• Problemsolving skills to determine solutions to user interface challenges
• Multitasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Analytical mind with business acumen
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Attention to detail and mastery of information design
