Job Description

Hiring immediately for Class A Driver!  Must have flatbed and winter driving experience.  Driver must have secure parking for tractor and trailer during hometime.  Driver must have steel toed shoes, hard hat, gloves, safety vest, and ear plugs. This is a Driver Assist position.

$500 Sign on Bonus

TWIC card will need to be obtained within the first week of being hired

Driver must live within 50 miles of Wilmington, DE

CDL- A Driver / Truck Driver Responsibilities:

• Containers and 40' chassis
• Mainly hauling fruit from drop yard to ports
• No touch freight
• Home most days; start times are betwen 5pm and midnight; You will work weekends
• Mostly Drop & Hook; live unload-Depends on the location you're delivering to
• Slip seating and you must be ok with this
• Average 1700 miles per week
• Average $1600 weekly
• No layover pay
• NO SMOKING IN TRUCK
• Stop pay, live unload & live load: $40.50; Delay Pay after 2 hours: $17/hr; Drop & Hook: $8.30
• Mileage Pay: $.63cpm; Hourly Pay: $29; Annual is $85,000

CDL-A Driver / Truck Driver Requirements:

• 6 months recent container experience
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
• No more than 3 non DOT-preventable accidents in the past 3 years
• No more than 8 jobs in the past 3 years; no more than 3 CDL jobs in the past 12 months 
• No more than 3 incidents in the past 3 years
• Most Terminations will be reviewed if it was not safety or drug related issues
• No DUI's/DWI's in the past 5 years
• Hair & Urine drug screen required
• Felonies and misdemeanors must be outside of 7 years
