Responsibilities:
The Greif Early Career Program offers a 10-week corporate internship experience. Participants will undertake project-based assignments focused on Human Resources.
Contribute to global HR projects, managing and breaking down larger tasks into manageable components
Analyze and improve existing HR processes, bringing creativity and efficiency
Deliver clear and effective communication across all tasks and projects
Gain exposure to various HR functions and contribute to team initiatives
Independently manage your workload and set your schedule to meet project goals
A summer internship at Greif will enable you to:
Apply academic knowledge to gain industry experience
Collaborate with fellow interns and colleagues on a meaningful project to present at the end of your internship
Access professional development opportunities and learning material
Gain clarity on academic and career goals
Assimilate into a corporate team environment
You will have the opportunity to:
Attend the week-long Internship Summit at Greif’s corporate headquarters in Delaware, Ohio
Assist in HR assignments and ongoing projects
Familiarize yourself with departmental functions
Collaborate with colleagues across different regions and business areas
Work on initiatives that drive diversity and process improvements within the organization
Build global relationships and gain significant visibility within Greif
Attend internship events, social networking events, and roundtables
Potentially present to the Executive Leadership Team at the end of the internship
Contribute to performance goals and assigned projects
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, Communication, or a related field
Minimum completion of four years of college required prior to the start of your internship, with enrollment in a master's program preferred
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Able to work full-time during the 10-week internship experience beginning May 19th, 2025, to July 25th, 2025

Strong academic background, with a preferred GPA of 3.5 or above
Relevant internship, work experience, or involvement with professional clubs/organizations
Strong data analysis capabilities
Experience or interest in artificial intelligence
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Takes initiative and is naturally curious

Go-getter attitude
Skill in forming and maintaining professional relationships
Ability to bring creative approaches to presentations and process improvements
