Job Description Summary
The Student Success Coach (Hamilton and Middletown, OH) will serve as a mentor and coach dedicated to dual credit students. The coach will provide direct student contact through academic advising and coaching. Based on the assessed need, the coach will refer students to receive enhanced academic services. The Coach will report to the Director of Dual Credit Programs and will assist with operational support for all dual credit programs. They will collaborate with K-12 partners and university colleagues working with dual credit students.Job Description

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree and two years of experience advising, counseling, coaching, teaching or otherwise providing holistic student support in an education institution environment; familiarity with dual credit programs.
Consideration may be given to applicants who are familiar with Ohio’s College Credit Plus program and have experience in the development and implementation of special programs or workshops for low-income, first-generation students, and/or other groups of underserved student population; demonstrated ability to understand the needs of student populations historically underserved by higher education (i.e. low-income, first generations, etc.); ability to work a flexible schedule that might include occasional nights; demonstrated ability to learn and communicate detailed policies and procedures; have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
