Job Description

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you'll leverage your expertise in cash and accrual accounting to prepare, evaluate, maintain, and deliver accurate financial reports for a diverse portfolio of clients and properties. This role is central to the Financial Strategy and Operations team, focusing on upholding accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.

What You'll Do

Handle intermediate to advanced-level accounting tasks in preparation for client financial statement packages.
Create and post journal entries, ensuring accurate recording of expenses, receipts, distributions, funding requests, and other transactions for the accounting period.
Generate and review financial packages for accuracy and comprehensive reporting, ensuring timely delivery to clients and management teams.
Audit funding and payment requests for accuracy, documentation, and authorization, following established procedures.
Address and resolve complex accounting issues and reports from management teams and clients.
Identify potential issues and conflicts, taking corrective action to resolve them.
Manage and report on benchmarks and performance metrics.
Apply knowledge of standard principles and procedures to complete tasks and solve routine problems.
Demonstrate a broad understanding of your role and related job functions.

What You'll Need

Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 2-5 years of relevant experience. A combination of experience and education will also be considered.
Understanding of existing procedures and standards to address moderately complex problems.
Ability to analyze solutions using technical experience and apply appropriate judgment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Advanced math skills for handling financial calculations.

Additional Information

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 annually, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
