How You'll Help Us Connect the World As a Software Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with an automation project as part of Access Network Solutions. You will work closely with the Customer Engineering team as well as IT teams to automate retrieving support information, proper update of the Bug DB, relaying information between Bugzilla/Jira, and trend analysis of the problems. This role will be based in Lowell, MA. You Will Make an Impact By Automating the customers trouble/question tickets into quantitative trend analysis for the better focus at Customer Engineering team Improving and optimizing some of the repeatable manual process into automated by a script with proper documentation Required Qualifications for Consideration Actively pursuing a bachelor's (upcoming sophomores, juniors & seniors) or master's degree inthe following Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics, from an accredited university Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0 Linux, Python, and Excel knowledge Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship Military-Affiliated candidates encouraged to apply (Veterans, Military Spouses, and Guard/Reservists) You Will Excite Us If You Show the motivation to learn and take an initiative and ask a lot of questions Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills Show innovation through unique ideas and propose them to the team Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines Strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and verbal communications skills Strong initiative; a self-starter with analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities Experience working in a fast-paced environment and flexible to changing priorities What Happens After You Apply Learn how to prepare yourself for the next steps in our hiring process by visiting .
