Senior UI/UX Designer job at Skillsearch Limited Remote, US

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our client’s remote team, where you will play a crucial role in crafting visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces for mobile games. Your attention to detail and ability to design intuitive user journeys will be key in enhancing our players' gaming experiences. If you have a deep passion for free-to-play mobile games and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Prototyping: Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
User Research: Conduct research and evaluate user feedback to continuously improve the overall user experience.
Visual Design: Develop high-quality visuals and interface elements that align with the game's artistic direction and enhance user engagement.
Collaboration: Work closely with game designers, developers, and artists to ensure cohesive and appealing UI/UX designs.
Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to optimise usability and player satisfaction.
Documentation: Produce and maintain detailed design specifications and guidelines for UI/UX implementation.
Trend Analysis: Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies to ensure our game interfaces remain cutting-edge.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: 7+ years as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in the gaming industry, with a portfolio showcasing your design expertise.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
User-Centric Approach: Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and practices.
Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think critically about user experience and interface challenges.
Attention to Detail: Keen eye for aesthetics, detail, and consistency in visual design.
Adaptability: Ability to iterate designs based on user feedback and changing project requirements.
Passion for Gaming: A deep love for mobile games, especially in the free-to-play segment, and a desire to create exceptional gaming experiences.
