Job Title: SAP BTP Security Consultant

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) Security Consultant to design, implement, and manage security solutions for SAP cloud-based applications and services. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP BTP security architecture, identity and access management (IAM), compliance, and cloud security best practices to ensure a secure and scalable SAP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP BTP Security Implementation & Management:
• Design and implement security models for SAP BTP applications and services.
• Configure role-based and attribute-based access controls (RBAC/ABAC) within SAP BTP.
• Implement SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS) for secure user authentication and provisioning.
• Ensure secure integration between SAP BTP and other SAP/third-party cloud applications.
Identity & Access Management (IAM):
• Manage user authentication, authorization, and Single Sign-On (SSO) across SAP BTP.
• Implement OAuth, SAML, JWT, and OpenID Connect-based authentication for secure access.
• Define user roles, permissions, and segregation of duties (SoD) policies in SAP BTP.
Cloud Security & Compliance:
• Ensure SAP BTP security aligns with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and other industry standards.
• Implement data protection, encryption, and logging mechanisms in SAP BTP.
• Conduct security risk assessments, audits, and vulnerability management.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents in SAP BTP environments.
Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC):
• Define and implement security policies and compliance frameworks for SAP BTP.
• Work closely with IT security teams to integrate SAP BTP security with enterprise security frameworks.
• Perform continuous security monitoring to detect and mitigate potential threats.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP security configuration and administration.
• Deep understanding of SAP IAS, IPS, and SAP Cloud Identity Services.
• Expertise in cloud security principles and zero-trust security models.
• Knowledge of API security, SAP BTP integration security, and network security.
• Professional Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP security.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP security, IAM, and cloud security best practices.
• Strong understanding of SAP cloud applications, microservices security, and DevSecOps.
• Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):
• SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP BTP Security
• AWS/Azure Certified Security – Specialty (for multi-cloud security expertise)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent
