Job DescriptionThe Sanitation Lead will play a crucial role in developing and managing sanitation protocols to ensure food safety and compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will lead a team, coordinate sanitation schedules, and collaborate with various departments to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and update sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Implement cleaning and sanitization schedules for all plant areas.Lead and supervise the sanitation team, providing necessary training and guidance.Coordinate sanitation activities to minimize production disruption.Conduct inspections of equipment and production areas to ensure cleanliness.Collaborate with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal sanitation and safety regulations.Identify and implement improvements in sanitation processes.Work closely with production, quality control, and maintenance teams.Key Skills and ExperienceMinimum of 2 years of proven experience in sanitation leadership within the food manufacturing industry.Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals, manufacturing processes, and equipment sanitation.Knowledge of GMP, SQF audits, FDA, PMO, HACCP, and OSHA regulations.Leadership and team management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Detail-oriented with a high standard for cleanliness and hygiene.Fluency in Spanish is required.Benefits The company offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.
