What You'll Bring
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 5+ years in Business Development or Sales Leadership, ideally within the FinTech industry
Regional Experience: Previous experience working in Africa is essential
Sales Skills: Proven expertise in the full-cycle B2B sales process, including onboarding, integration, and managing live accounts
Project Management: Helpful to have a background in project management
Closing Ability: Strong closing skills and strategic decision-making capabilities
Industry Knowledge: A thorough understanding of the FinTech and cryptocurrency landscape
B2B Mastery: Solid B2B sales experience with knowledge in managing third-party distribution channels
API Sales: Background in selling API solutions to strategic partners is beneficial
Product Partnership: Ability to collaborate with product teams to encourage API adoption and use
Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with company standards, security practices, and compliance requirements for Selling Partner solutions
Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively as a technical liaison with various teams, including service engineering and business development
Strategic Mindset: Strategic thinker who brings a customer-focused approach to business improvements

Your Key Responsibilities
New Business Development: Drive new business and partnership acquisition by prospecting, qualifying leads, and negotiating contracts.
Client & Partner Identification: Target key clients and market segments that align with the platform's goals.
End-to-End Partnerships: Lead the partnership process from proposal to execution, managing contract negotiations and closing strategic deals.
Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct quarterly reviews with senior leadership, keeping them updated on partnership progress and key opportunities.
Partner Support & Training: Oversee partner onboarding, including sales and product training.
Pipeline & Reporting: Maintain accurate weekly pipeline reports to track partner success and growth potential.
Partner Relations: Foster strong relationships with partners, clients, and prospects by attending local events and industry exhibitions as needed.
Revenue Growth: Work towards and exceed revenue targets by optimizing strategic partnerships and driving growth.
Contract Negotiations: Manage business terms, review contracts with tech partners, and coordinate with marketing, legal, and administrative teams as necessary.
Product Development: Identify and recommend products that meet the evolving needs of clients and their customers.
