Job Title: Host/Hostess
We are seeking a part-time Restaurant Host to join our team. As a Restaurant Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests entering our establishment. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, seating them, taking reservations, and managing the flow of the dining room.
We are looking for a friendly and personable individual with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a customer service-oriented attitude and a professional appearance. Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred.
This position requires the ability to work evenings and weekends, as well as standing for long periods of time. If you are a team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Join our team and help create a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners.
Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus.
Adjusts complaints of patrons.
Assigns work tasks and coordinates activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service to patrons.
Inspects dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness, and requisitions table linens and other dining room supplies for tables and serving stations.
Prepares beverages and expedites food orders.
Totals receipts, at end of shift, to verify sales and clears cash register.
