Job Description

Eurofins Agroscience Services is searching for a Research Assistant to work in Porterville, CA.

Research Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Review and be familiar with study protocol requirements.
• Site characterization sampling and shipping
• Facility upkeep: organization, cleaning, supplies inventory control.
• Train research technicians.
• Recognize situations when Good Laboratory Practices, Standard Operating Procedures or protocol requirements may not be able to be met and immediately communicate those situations to supervisory staff.
• Document trial activities in appropriate study or facility logbooks.
• Prepare and review raw data packages for submission to the Quality Assurance Unit for audit at trial completion.
• Assist with written report summaries.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess :

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Basic Minimum

Qualifications

:

• High School diploma
• College course work preferred
• One or more years of vocational office experience preferred

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime required as needed. Salary range is $17-18 an hour. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Porterville, CA are encouraged to apply.
