SCOPE OF WORK:Directs and manages student registration, scheduling and academic records and information systems and maintains the security, integrity , accuracy of all student academic records. This position shall report to the Vice President of Academic & Workforce Education of NHTI – Concord’s Community College
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university in business administration, education, computer science, social science, or related field of study.
Experience:Five years of experience in an academic environment responsible for registering students and implementing academic policies and procedures.
License/Certification:None
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Extensive knowledge and experience with a computerized integrated student records system. Experience in the use of PC based software, including word processing and spreadsheets.
RECOMMENDED WORK TRAITS: Considerable knowledge of registration procedures and admissions policies at the Institute/College level. Considerable knowledge of office practices and procedures. Knowledge of report preparation procedures. Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form. Ability to work with and maintain security of confidential material. Ability to supervise an office staff. Ability to perform detailed work, involving written or numerical data and make arithmetic calculations rapidly and accurately. Ability to conduct studies and analysis contributing to sound operational procedures. Ability to understand and carry out complex written and oral instructions. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, students, public and private agencies and the general public. Must be willing to maintain an appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the college.
