Job Description

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer
Location: New York, NY 11373
Duration: 2 Months

Position Details:

Weekly Hours: 40
Daily Hours: 8
Days Per Week: 5
Shift: 12:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Required
Training Schedule: 2 weeks, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (including EPIC system training)

Salary: Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a General Radiographer
Education: Associate's Degree required
License: Valid Radiologic Technologist license issued by the NYSDOH
Certifications:
- ARRT certification in Radiography required
- BLS preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Radiographic Imaging: Perform high-quality imaging exams per established protocols and safety standards, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment.
Patient Care: Assist patients in positioning and preparation for exams while maintaining a safe, comfortable, and compassionate environment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including patient information and completed exams, using the facility’s record-keeping system.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure imaging equipment is in optimal condition, reporting any issues for timely repair.

Interview Format: In-person
Potential for Extension: Initial contract duration may be extended based on needs
Special Requirements: Must work alternating weekends and holidays
