Job Title: Quality Assurance Improvement Engineer Specialist EV
Job Description We are looking for a Quality Assurance Improvement Engineer. The Engineer will develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.
QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics
Essential Duties And Responsibilities - Review and analyze warranty, IQS, and other customer feedback to determine priorities for improvement.
- Update customer feedback database with improvement activities and status.
- Communicate with cross-functional departments to ensure understanding of customer issues & improvements.
- Visit suppliers and/or dealers, when required, to investigate and determine countermeasure effectiveness.
- Coordinate and conduct internal campaign for quality flow-outs to customers and issue report.
- Investigate and inform responsible departments of external quality concerns. Work with departments to identify root cause, implement containment and develop countermeasures in a timely manner.
- Checks the field’s TSB and creates its own TSB once the field campaign is determined.
- Issue reports and presentations regularly to inform customers on progress and results.
- Support and coordinate plant-wide and department-wide quality planning, conferences, and events for external customers.
- Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.
- Meet all other requirements as assigned.
Must Have - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance within the automotive industry
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of automotive industry quality standards and regulations
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software

- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Type This is a permanent position.
Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Savannah, Georgia.
Work Environment Work involves collaboration with cross-functional departments, visits to suppliers and dealers, and coordination of quality planning events. Compliance with BMS, EMS, and SMS requirements is mandatory.
