Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to join our team in Nebraska. As a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating respiratory and critical care conditions. Responsibilities include examining patients, managing critical care patients in the ICU, performing procedures, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients to assess respiratory health and critical care needs.
  • Monitor vital signs during surgery
  • Manage critical care patients in the ICU, including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring.
  • Perform procedures such as bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and intubation, as needed.
  • Make cooperative decisions with the healthcare team in the best interests of the patient.
  • Monitor patients\' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Consult with other physicians and specialists on patient care, particularly for complex cases.

Requirements: 

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.
  • Proven work experience as a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician or similar role.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make critical decisions in emergency situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
