Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Manager to lead a critical Federal Cybersecurity Program. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and oversee cybersecurity initiatives while working closely with government stakeholders. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO) and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), ensuring smooth and efficient project execution. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in managing government contracts, organizing teams, and delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Program Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing all contractor work, ensuring adherence to timelines, and maintaining effective communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Your day-to-day tasks will involve:
Task Management: Oversee project controls, reporting, and the successful execution of tasks within the program.
Security Assessments: Lead risk and vulnerability assessments, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and guidelines.
Continuous Monitoring: Manage ongoing threat analysis and documentation, transitioning the project toward continuous monitoring efforts.
Administrative Security Support: Assist with security clearance processing and necessary documentation.
Technical Expertise: Provide strategic cybersecurity insights, system analysis, and policy reviews.
Surge Support: Offer resource scaling during increased service needs.
Additional Activities: Engage in ML Security Operations, Offensive Security, and risk assessments, and consistently ensure detailed technical documentation and communication.
Additional Duties:
Develop and manage staffing plans, providing strategic guidance to multiple teams.
Organize, monitor, and coordinate interconnected projects, ensuring they align with government requirements.
Prepare and present reports to government project managers (PMs).
Collaborate with other task leads to ensure specific deliverables are met within agreed timelines.
Address any identified risks and communicate mitigation plans to the government.
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years of proven experience in program management or other senior-level managerial positions.
A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or relevant education in lieu of certification.
Strong knowledge of performance evaluation, change management, and excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Demonstrated experience in organizing and managing cybersecurity services.
Proven ability to create staffing plans, lead teams, and ensure project success.
Experience preparing reports and task management deliverables for government stakeholders.
Expertise in risk identification, management, and mitigation.
Active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with federal agencies (ideally DHS CISA).
Cybersecurity program management experience.
Familiarity with SAFe and DevSecOps methodologies.
