Job Title: Product Specialist

Duration: Contract to Hire

Compensation Range: $25-30 Per Hour W2

Several factors may be utilized to determine your hourly rate including but not limited to years of experience and specific skillsets compared to employees in this role. Candidates typically start at the lower half of the estimated range. 
• This role is eligible to enroll in both Mondo's health insurance plan and retirement plan. Mondo defers to the applicable State or local law for paid sick leave eligibility. 

Must haves:

• Comfortable cold-calling and speaking with customers/vendors live
• MS Office PowerPoint + Excel - understanding to learn about it - will be given templates
• Reach out to vendors + Communications - proactive communicator
• Experience around technologies
• YOE- 1-3 years of experience
• Tenacity and willingness to learn
• Ex. Title: product specialist, market specialist titles

Nice to haves:

• Experience reaching out to software companies to build vendor relations
• Salesforce

Day to day:

• Googling and reading press releases
• Market research
• Digging up information, unearthing new vendors, and coming up with solutions
• Going after specific vendors, reaching out/cold calling them, making introductions, and building rapport. Sit and Q&A.
• Run weekly vendor meetings to discuss what is and isn't working
• Reaching out to grocery tech vendors
• Calling and asking vendors if there is a potential opportunity for business together
