Position Overview
The Principal Engineer plays a critical leadership role in our engineering team, responsible for driving the design and development of innovative software solutions. This position emphasizes technical excellence, mentorship, and strategic planning to meet the needs of our financial technology products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable software systems using Next.js, Django, and Python.
• Mentor and guide a team of engineers in best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for high availability and performance.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with product management to define project requirements and deliver high-quality consumer-facing applications.
• Utilize Redis and Celery for efficient task management and caching solutions.
• Develop and maintain high-performance trading applications in the financial domain, focusing on FX and cryptocurrency markets.
• Ensure adherence to FIX protocol standards for financial transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on fintech and high-frequency trading applications.
• Strong background in Django
• Frontend experience with Next.js or other modern javascript frameworks
• Experience with Typescript
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• In-depth knowledge of database management and caching strategies, including Redis.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
• Experience in financial services, particularly with hedge funds and trading systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
