Oberg Industries is looking for a Polisher/Carver who is able to polish surfaces per drawing specifications, customer specifications, and Oberg manufacturing specifications. This position can either be a daylight shift or a night shift, whichever works best for your schedule. The position will be working at Oberg's Corporate Headquarters located in Freeport, PA. POLISHER/CARVER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work in a standing, sitting, or bent position for 10 hours/day and must be able to lift a maximum of 35 pounds with control and unassisted. The employee must be able to raise arms above shoulders and maintain dexterity for extended periods of time and also use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and be able to stoop or kneel for excessive periods of time. For extended periods of time, the employee must be capable of working by using of a magnifying devise. The employee must be able to perform the physical demands of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. The employee must be able to wear personal protective equipment. This position requires on-site work. Remote work options are not available.
