Austintown Pediatrics in Youngstown, OH is looking for pediatric LPN/MA's with pediatric experience to fill two separate positions. We are located on 107 Javit Ct. Our ideal candidates are self-driven, punctual, and hard-working.

About the Jobs:

Austintown Pediatrics is looking for two hard working, friendly MAs or LPNs with Pediatric experience to fill positions for our front desk and/or Nurse's station. 

FRONT DESK MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

Medical Receptionist:

• Patient check in/check out.
• Answering phone calls.
• Scheduling and sending messages to providers as needed.
• Entering patient demographics.
• Maintain and update patient health records.
• Collect copays.
• Complete patient forms, referrals, and appointment tasks.
• Pull patient forms for next business day.
• Prior Authorizations.
• Communicate with hospitals, specialty departments and other provider offices for patient related information.
• Prepare medical records as needed.
• Checking faxes throughout the day.

Requirements and skills:

• Proven working experience as a Medical Assistant or Medical Receptionist.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Excellent computer and typing skills.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to work and communicate with fellow staff members.

Job Type: Part-time, Full-time.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour.

NURSE STATION AND FRONT DESK

Austintown Pediatrics Inc is looking for a part-time to potentially full-time Pediatric LPN or MA to work both the Nurse's station and the front desk as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Record a patient’s medical history accurately.
• Take and record measurements of height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Administer injections, aerosol treatments and medications as ordered.
• Perform diagnostic testing as ordered and record results accurately.
• Communicate with patients’ family to provide results, instructions, advice and relay information to practitioners in a timely manner.
• Work with our Front Desk team as needed.

Requirements and Skills:

• Strong desire to work with pediatric demographic and maintain upbeat, encouraging demeanor.
• Ability to undertake a variety of care tasks and prioritize efficiently.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer and typing skills
• Successful completion of LPN license or MA certification program is a must.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected Hours: 28 – 40 per week

Pay: MA $16.00-$17.50

LPN $18.00-$19.00
