As Nurse PACU Manager, you will be a vital component of a large acute care facility that offers a wide variety of care such as women’s and children’s services, surgical services, emergency care, family medicine, pediatrics, oncology, behavioral health, and so much more! With an experienced Perianesthesia and Perioperative support staff working under them, the PACU Nurse Manager will have the proper resources necessary to ensure that the department is operating at the highest level and all goals are being met. The RN PACU Manager will be supported by an Assistant Manager and will report to the Director of Perioperative Services to collaborate with them on unit initiatives.
As Nurse Manager PACU, you will be responsible for overseeing administrative and clinical operations, aiding with development of department budgets, staffing and hiring, developing and implementing departmental procedures, and monitoring and evaluating staff performance. Individuals with prior acute care PACU Managerial experience will earn quick interviews.
