Job Description

Full-time Occupational Therapist Wanted

At our organization, we pride ourselves on providing comprehensive healthcare services that foster healing and growth in a supportive environment. We are looking for a skilled Occupational Therapist to help guide our patients toward a more fulfilling, independent life.

Compensation: $80,000k–$90,000k per year
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Patient Volume: 7 patients per day, 35 visits per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' functional abilities, identify limitations, and design tailored treatment plans to promote maximum independence.
  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to support physical, cognitive, and psychosocial development.
  • Work closely with patients, families, and caregivers to set and achieve meaningful goals through personalized strategies.
  • Design and implement activities to improve motor skills, coordination, balance, and endurance.
  • Use assistive devices and adaptive equipment to promote independence in daily living activities.
  • Teach patients and families techniques to manage pain, conserve energy, and prevent further complications.
  • Accurately record patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Work alongside other healthcare professionals to provide holistic and coordinated care.
  • Stay up to date with industry advancements and participate in ongoing education to enhance your skills.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and advocate for patient rights in all interactions.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Oregon State Occupational Therapist License.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, especially in rehabilitation or acute care settings, is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and the ability to perform thorough evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.
  • Communication and relationship-building skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to helping individuals reach their full potential.
  • Capability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
