Position Overview

The NetSuite Developer role will help play a pivotal role in bringing BrüMate’s NetSuite environment and connected integrations across the finish line as well as assess the company’s overall ongoing NetSuite operational and requirement/quality needs. This person will be reporting directly to the Business Solutions Director.

As a NetSuite Developer, this individual will be responsible for performing varied duties and tasks that need independent judgment, to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain NetSuite Solutions to meet BrüMate needs. This person will assist in the design and develop new customizations as well as troubleshooting Brumate issues related to NetSuite and its Integrations. This position devises and establishes IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by leadership. Key to this role is to ensure successful NetSuite integrations and to maintain compliance with existing policies, deliver and improve solutions utilizing NetSuite’s capabilities, and is driven to improve the capabilities of the organization's technology processes and procedures.

The ideal candidate will conceptualize business needs and be able to formulate, develop, present, and implement solutions from both the technical and business points of view. This role is a key business partner collaborating with internal stakeholders and outsourced partners to assist in the process of defining in support of evolving business requirements and quality assurance. 

This includes providing well-defined requirements, performing system testing, training team members on NetSuite functionality pertaining to their role, designing, and implementing effective systems and processes, managing and performing configuration changes, improving integrations, and meaningfully moving the platform (NetSuite+ integrations) forward to be best in class.

Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree: In Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience as a NetSuite Administrator/Developer in a relevant industry
  • Previous experience and ability to gather business requirements and effectively implement an ERP, CRM, & PSA solutions
  • Previous industry/functional experience in Financials, Accounting, Manufacturing, Software, Wholesale Distribution, Services, Retail, Enterprise, General Business

Key Qualifications

  • SuiteScript: Proficiency and Experience with SuiteScript for custom scripting and automation.
  • SuiteFlow: Proficiency and Experience with SuiteFlow for workflow automation.
  • SuiteTalk: Knowledge of SuiteTalk for web services and integrations.
  • ERP Modules: Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP modules and functionalities.
  • Experience & Background with Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Month/Year end processing preferred.
  • System Integrations: Experience with system integration within a 3PL environment and data migration with the use of iPaaS platforms such as Celigo preferred.
  • Experience using forms, fields, custom records, and workflows to manage unique business process requirements within NetSuite.
  • Must be proficient with saved searches, formulas, reporting, creating dashboards, creating custom forms, and creating workflows.
  • Customization: Ability to customize and configure NetSuite modules to be best in class.
  • Experience with Shopify, TikTok, Middleware tools (Shop dance/Celigo), NetSuite, SPS/EDI, and Warehouse management system preferred.
  • Experience with direct-to-consumer and/or Amazon eCommerce platforms preferred.
  • Streamline business processes and optimize system performance.
  • Implement system upgrades and patches
  • Provide user training and support, troubleshooting issues
  • Maintain system documentation
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Experience with Agile Project management tools such as (Jira, ServiceNow, etc.)
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, concurrent projects while meeting aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • NetSuite Certifications: Such as SuiteFoundation, Administrator, SuiteCloud Developer, or ERP Consultant preferred.
