Position Summary
P.S. ARTS Teaching Artists are equal parts professional artists and professional educators. Teaching Artists are responsible for delivering a highquality authentic and engaging curriculum that is inclusive creative and aspirational. As we move into a new era of education Teaching Artists at P.S. ARTS are given the opportunity and challenge of designing new ways to deliver arts education.
P.S. ARTS serves schools and communities as a partner and ally. Knowing that each community will have different needs P.S. ARTS strives to deliver programming that embodies our values of Art Excellence Equity Innovation and Community.
A successful Teaching Artist is enthusiastic about creatively engaging with their students open to adapting their teaching practice and a dependable figure in the clroom. A Teaching Artists overall goal is to empower students to have the freedom to imagine and the power to create.
