Job Description

Delaney Computer Services, Inc., based in Mahwah, NJ, specializes as a Managed IT Service Provider (MSP) with an emphasis on Cybersecurity for small businesses within the finance, insurance, and other compliance-driven industries in the NJ/NY metro area, catering to companies with 10-100 employees. We are currently seeking a highly organized, personable, and technologically savvy individual who is focused on growing our sales, client relations, and supporting our sales operations. The role entails engaging with our managed IT clients to manage the renewal process and facilitate the acquisition of new IT equipment, in alignment with the renewal of their MSP contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the go-to person to receive, respond to, vet, and action inbound sales leads
  • Handle customer satisfaction issues related to accounts and ensure the quality of existing relationships. Become a trusted resource for our clients.
  • While we don't expect you to solely generate all of your leads, we do expect that you are willing to cold-call and hunt for opportunities during periods of downtime, as well as assist in outbound lead generation.
  • Find and execute upsell opportunities with existing clients.
  • Prepare, file, and retrieve sales-related documents, including IT support agreements.
  • Prepare and send quotes and sales proposals for products and services.
  • Ensure contracts are executed.
  • Work with sales admins to place and track orders with vendors for client purchases.
  • Interface with internal teams to ensure proper pre-and post-sales service.
  • Coordinate meetings with internal teams and service calls for the sales and technical support teams.
  • Retrieve clients' warranty information, subscriptions, and license keys for the support team.
  • Audit clients' recurring service agreements and make adjustments as needed.
  • Answer client questions about their accounts via phone and email.
  • Maintain internal CRM databases with up-to-date account information.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Prior Background in technology sales and account management
  • Strong proficiency working in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, Microsoft Azure and other modern workplace SaaS tools
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a professional demeanor
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating effectively with clients, internal teams, and external vendors
  • Demonstrated experience managing workload efficiently to prioritize and track the status of multiple activities
  • Proactive in taking ownership for tasks through completion with or without direction, knowing when to ask for help, and escalating issues when necessary

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous experience in the MSP / IT support industry, preferably with MSP or small business IT support company
  • Familiarity with AutoTask PSA and Quotewerks
  • Experience with vendor licensing programs such as Microsoft CSP, Cisco SmartNet, Meraki, and Dell ProSupport
  • Experience selling or supporting industry brands like Cisco, Meraki, Microsoft 365, and Lenovo Think-branded products

Education

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business or STEM field of study
  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
