Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and scientifically-driven Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our team and support the scientific and business objectives within Hematology/Oncology. This is a field-based role, and the MSL will be responsible for building relationships with healthcare professionals, researchers, and external experts in the therapeutic area. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality scientific information and collaborating with various teams to advance our objectives throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Territory Plans:
Design and implement strategic territory plans that align with Hematology/Oncology medical and scientific objectives.
Build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers, researchers, and external experts in your assigned region.
Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities and maximize impact within your territory.
Achieve assigned project goals and deadlines while maintaining a focus on quality.
Scientific Resource to Healthcare Providers:
Provide education on disease states, treatment options, and the latest therapeutic landscapes to healthcare providers.
Stay up-to-date with market trends, scientific advancements, and relevant product knowledge to keep stakeholders informed.
Research and Development Support:
Collaborate with Research & Development (R&D) teams on initiatives such as site evaluations, investigator meetings, and recruitment for clinical trials.
Support research activities, and manage collaborations with external experts as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, including commercial, clinical research, and medical affairs, to support business objectives.
Work closely with in-field teams to develop and execute account plans that contribute to shared goals.
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline is preferred; a doctorate in health sciences or clinical disciplines is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical, scientific, or industry experience, with oncology experience preferred.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to translate territory and corporate needs into actionable solutions.
Ability to learn and apply foundational skills in Scientific Storytelling, Identifying Mobilizers, Powerful Questioning, and Active Listening.
Proven leadership qualities that align with company values and initiatives.
Willingness to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory.
Must meet healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, including background checks, drug screens, and immunization/vaccination proof.

Compensation: The compensation range for this role will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, education, and experience, and may vary by location.
