mentor and role model , guiding adolescents in developing positive coping skills, daily living habits, and healthy relationships. Your dedication and compassion will help youth facing emotional and behavioral challenges build a brighter future.
What You’ll Do - Implement individualized treatment plans and provide feedback on progress.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and therapeutic setting at all times.
- Teach coping, social, and daily living skills through structured activities.
- Build strong connections with families, caseworkers, and community agencies.
- Facilitate recreational and psycho-educational groups that inspire growth.
- Complete treatment documentation accurately and on time.
Compensation & Benefits Starting salary range:
$19.21-$21.62 per hour , based on education and relevant experience. This reflects steps 1-5 of an 11-step pay schedule. YBGR offers ongoing training, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive, mission-driven team culture.

Qualifications Required Qualifications: - 21 years old or older
- Criminal / Child Abuse Clearance: Must pass criminal record and child abuse registry background check as required by the State of Montana.
- High School Diploma or GED
Required Abilities/Skills - Empathy and Compassion: Ability to empathize with the struggles and emotions of youth experiencing mental health challenges, and to provide compassionate care.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with youth, their families, and other members of the treatment team to facilitate treatment and support plans.
- Boundaries and Professionalism: Understanding of professional boundaries and ethical guidelines in mental health care, including maintaining confidentiality and respecting patient autonomy.
- Documentation Skills: Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of youth’s interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with YBGR requirements.
- Demonstrate being self-motivated, self-disciplined, and diligent with forward thinking.
- Demonstrate the ability to think of their team over self and define success collectively rather than individually.
- The ability to effectively interact and communicate with others. These skills are essential for building and maintaining relationships, collaborating with colleagues, resolving conflicts, and navigating various social situations.
