Medical Biller and Coder – Full-Time Remote Opportunity

Join our team as a Certified Outpatient Medical Coder   and work remotely from the comfort of your home! We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong coding expertise to ensure accurate and compliant coding of outpatient services and procedures, supporting efficient billing processes.

Medical Biller and Coder Pay & Benefits:

• Pay:   Starting at $17/hour with certification
  
• Sign-On Bonus:  $2,500
  

Medical Biller and Coder Opportunity:

• Schedule:   Full-Time | 8-Hour Shifts
  
• Responsibilities:   Accurately code and bill   physician clinic and hospital claims   for government and commercial insurance carriers. Assist with training team members and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  

Medical Biller and Coder Qualifications:

• Certifications:   Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through AAPC   or   Certified Coding Specialist-Physician-based (CCS-P) through AHIMA
  
• Experience:  1 year of insurance coding/billing preferred
  
• Preferred Knowledge:   Medical terminology, CPT and ICD-9/ICD-10 coding for physician billing, and familiarity with   Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross, CHAMPUS,   and other third-party payers
  

Work Environment:

• Location Requirement:   Must reside in   Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, or Florida
  
• Remote Work:   Fully remote position — candidates must have a   dedicated workspace   and   reliable internet connection
