Job Description

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in generating revenue by effectively monitoring and pursuing payment and resolution for outstanding medical claims. In this role, you will follow established protocols to ensure claims are reviewed and processed promptly, while verifying coding and payment accuracy to meet client needs and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Proactively follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely and complete payments for claims.
Conduct research and submit corrected claims or appeals as necessary to facilitate resolution.
Communicate with insurance representatives regarding any discrepancies in payments.
Process and document adjustments, including write-offs, transfers, and chargebacks across various platforms.
Provide additional information to clients to support collection efforts.
Analyze insurance reimbursement receipts for accuracy and completeness.
Safeguard sensitive information by adhering to professional standards, organizational policies, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in medical billing is required.
Strong understanding of medical billing terminology and processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to analyze information effectively.
Exceptional documentation skills and time management abilities.
Focused on delivering high-quality results.
General math skills are necessary.

Salary: $ 16.00 21.00 Per Hour
