Sanitas Medical Center is hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant Certified Patient Care Coordinator for our Ocala - Central facility in Ocala, FL. This vital role focuses on managing patient flow, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a smooth experience for both patients and medical staff.

Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients, directing them to the appropriate department or personnel.
Schedule patient appointments, ensuring proper patient flow and minimizing wait times.
Verify patient information, update demographics, and collect co-pays.
Complete necessary insurance and privacy forms, ensuring all required information is gathered.
Maintain and compile medical charts, reports, and other documents.
Answer phone calls and route them to appropriate staff.
Protect patient confidentiality and secure protected health information.
Monitor patient flow and assist with the daily operations of the office.
Ensure medical supplies are ordered as needed and support staff in maintaining an efficient workflow.
Rotate weekends, holidays, and shifts as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
1+ years of experience in the medical field required.
Customer service experience is required.
Basic computer skills required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:
This role involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Ability to handle various physical tasks and maintain focus in a busy environment.
