Job Description

System One is actively seeking highly skilled Marine Piping Designers to join our team in the design and development of marine vessels and offshore structures. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed piping layouts and fabrication drawings, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.



This position will be supporting design work for repairs, modifications, and new fabrication projects.



Marine Piping Designer Requirements:

• Must be proficient in AutoCAD 2D & 3D, andShipconstructor
• Ability to read, analyze, design, and interpret drawings and technical specifications.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Strong mathematical ability and ability to interpret and deal with a variety of variables in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software, specifically excel, word and outlook.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to function and maintain accuracy and efficiency in diverse or highly repetitive tasks.
• Ability to function as a team player.

Project Location: 100% REMOTE

Contract Duration: 2 years

Hourly Rate: Rate will depend on years of experience
