Responsibilities:
- Verify all rental applications and personal references are true and accurate
- Complete property inspections and any required maintenance in accordance with our standards
- Research local rental rates and calculate costs to determine fair and competitive pricing
- Showcase properties and their amenities to potential tenants in order to help secure rental contracts
- Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and close the deal
- Process contracts with tenants and collect security deposits to ensure the closing of the deal
- Become acquainted with client expectations of housing and finances and highlight properties that meet those expectations
- Advertise available properties using a variety of social media and promotional materials to help secure quick rentals of all properties
- Show prospective tenants' properties and highlight the provided amenities to help ensure the rental contract
Qualifications:
- A proven record of sales experience and success
- Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and technologies
- Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Excel
