Scope and Purpose

Working under the direct supervision of the Head of Primary Markets – Americas, the Head of Equity Capital Markets - Americas is responsible for origination and execution of Equity Capital Markets transactions from corporate or financial institution clients of Intesa Sanpaolo.

Main activities: 

• Advise, originate, structure ECM transactions with ISP clients.
• Present ECM solutions to clients at any level of seniority.
• Liaise regularly with ISP Industry Group Heads, Global Relationship Managers, Local Relationship Managers and Project Finance team members to build international ECM revenues.
• Build an international ECM franchise together with the ECM teams in Milan and London to grow the ECM business globally.
• Coordinate with ECM ISP to facilitate the role of IMI Sec Equity Sales in distributing European offerings to US investors.
• Coordinate specific aspects of transactions including legal, compliance, approvals, and documentation.
• Responsible to maintain the P&L of the Equity Capital Markets Desk and liaise with Accounting Dept. at Intesa Sanpaolo for the reconciliation with the Head Office accounts
• Build relationship and trust with senior management internally.

Required Experience

A minimum of 7 to 10 years experience working for a security firm/broker dealer

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

• Bachelor’s Degree required, Post Graduate degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration preferred
• Must have solid experience in investment banking, advisory and capital markets.
• Must be familiar with the legal framework in the US Capital Markets.
• Excellent intrapersonal skills to work efficiently with ISP bankers and teams in New York, Milan, and London
• Must be a team player
• Strong communication and presentation skills, especially at corporate executive levels (Treasury, CFO)
• Fluency in Italian, a plus
• Level of authority: oversee ECM staff
• Series 79, 24 and 63 License required

The salary range for this job offer would be $ 200.000 - 300.000
