About the role The Identity Compliance Officer – SwishID is responsible for ensuring that SwishID’s identity, authentication, and access management services comply with applicable security, privacy, and regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Group Chief Compliance & Risk Officer (CCRO) and working closely with Security, Legal, and Identity Platform teams, this role ensures governance, controls, and documentation are maintained across the SwishID platform in a global, remote-first environment. This role focuses on compliance oversight rather than engineering execution. Key Responsibilities Identity & Access Compliance Monitor compliance of identity and access management controls Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and regulatory requirements Support access governance, reviews, and certification processes Policies, Standards & Documentation Develop and maintain identity-related compliance policies and procedures Maintain documentation, evidence, and control mappings Support internal and external audits and assessments Risk Management & Oversight Identify IAM-related compliance risks and control gaps Track remediation actions and ensure timely resolution Escalate significant risks to CCRO and relevant leadership Regulatory & Stakeholder Support Support regulatory inquiries and compliance reviews related to identity services Work with Legal on contractual and regulatory requirements Act as a compliance point of contact for identity-related matters Training & Awareness Promote awareness of identity compliance obligations Support training and guidance for technical and operational teams Encourage a culture of compliance and accountability Expectations Operate independently with objectivity and integrity Apply a structured, evidence-based compliance approach Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders Operate effectively in a fully remote environment

Requirements

Experience Experience in compliance, risk, or governance roles Exposure to identity, access management, or security-related compliance Experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments preferred Experience working in remote or distributed teams is an advantage Skills Strong understanding of compliance and governance principles Familiarity with IAM, authentication, and access control concepts Excellent documentation and organisational skills Strong analytical and communication abilities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Law, Compliance, Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Compliance or security certifications preferred but not required
