Experienced IBM IWS / TWS Platform Administrator to manage and maintain our complex, high-availability IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS) environment running on AWS. The ideal candidate will have several years of hands-on experience with IBM IWS, along with a strong understanding of managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing a high-availability, cloud-based infrastructure. This role requires the ability to work in a dynamic environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a willingness to engage with other technologies as needed.
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of experience working with IBM IWS (Workload Scheduler) / TWS (Tivoli Workload Scheduler) in a complex environment.
AWS Proficiency: Hands-on experience managing IWS / TWS in an AWS cloud-based infrastructure with a focus on high availability and scalability. Solid understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, and RDS.
Strong knowledge of IBM IWS (TWS) components, job scheduling, and monitoring.
Proficiency in scripting with Python.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with technical/non-technical stakeholders.
