Albuquerque Tour Guides: History & Haunts! (Part-Time, Permanent)
Do you love Albuquerque's Old Town, its history, and maybe even a little mystery? Are you outgoing, energetic, and love sharing stories with others?

Abq Tours is seeking passionate individuals to join our team as History Tour Guides and Ghost Tour Guides! This is a permanent, part-time position with flexible hours, perfect for self-employed individuals, active retirees, or anyone with an open schedule.

What You'll Do:

Lead engaging and informative walking tours of Albuquerque's historic Old Town.
Captivate guests with stories and historical details, bringing the past to life.
Ensure a memorable experience for visitors from all over the world.
Learn fascinating secrets and hidden gems of Old Town.
Interact with local merchants, artists, and residents.

Requirements:
18 years of age or older
Outgoing, sociable, and enthusiastic with a clear, strong speaking voice.
Ability to walk 2 miles outdoors in all types of weather.
Excellent memory for retaining historical details and tour information.
Comfortable using a smartphone and social media platforms.
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Availability to work with short notice (within 1 hour) on scheduled days.

Bonus Points:
Experience with drama or theater.
Prior knowledge of Old Town history or paranormal investigation.

Additional Info:
Some training is provided, but some may require independent study.
Tour guides are required to purchase their own equipment (approx. $100).
Must be available to work during Balloon Fiesta.
Commitment of minimum 2 years is preferred.
