DSI is hiring for Huntsville Hospital Security in Huntsville, AL!

We are hiring for the HH Health System throughout North Alabama! Locations include: HH main in Huntsville, AL, Lincoln Health in Fayetteville, TN and Decatur Morgan Hospital in Decatur, AL.

This position requires four weeks of paid training. 

Training includes: MOAB, OC spray, AXON taser, IAHSS certification, and physical training each day. 

The training schedule is Monday- Friday day shift (varies from 7A-5P & 6A-6P). Training pay is $15.00/hour.

After training you will be on a regular set 40 hour schedule: Sunday-Wednesday OR Wednesday-Saturday dayshift 6A-6P OR  nightshift 6P-6A.

Pay after training is $17.75.

Requirements:

Ability to pass a background check including MVR, drug screen and provide a high school diploma or equivalency record.

Must have a minimum of three months experience in security, military or law enforcement.

There are opportunities to grow and advance in further IAHSS training, leadership training and customer service training. Further education and certification training leads to potential for wage increase.

Job Responsibilities for Security Officers include maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to our clients. You will promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards. You will need to understand and comply with DSI and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions. You will participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures, as well as DSI’s safety manual. You will be interacting with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.

This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills. You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as a Security Officer. 

Pre-employment requirements are to be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license is required. You must have reliable means of transportation and means of communication. You must pass all required background and drug screenings.

$17.75 / hour
