We are looking for a passionate Health and Wellness Coach to join Whitefield Academy, a leading educational institution in Louisville. As a Health and Wellness Coach, you will play a crucial role in promoting and supporting the physical and mental well-being of our students and staff. Your work will be instrumental in creating a healthy and balanced environment conducive to learning and personal growth. You will be involved in designing and implementing wellness programs, providing one-on-one coaching, and fostering a culture of well-being throughout the academy.
As a Health and Wellness Coach at Whitefield Academy, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our community members. Your role is essential in helping individuals adopt healthy habits, manage stress, and enhance their overall quality of life. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop initiatives that promote holistic wellness, including nutrition, fitness, mental health, and work-life balance. Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive health and wellness programs for students and staff.
Provide individual coaching sessions to support personal health goals and behavior change.
Conduct assessments to identify health needs and track progress towards wellness objectives.
Organize workshops, seminars, and events on topics related to physical and mental well-being.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate wellness initiatives into the overall educational experience.
Stay current on health trends, research, and best practices in the field of wellness coaching.
Create resources and materials to educate the community on healthy living practices.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs through data analysis and feedback.
Requirements
Certification in Health Coaching, Wellness Coaching, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering wellness programs.
Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Knowledge of nutrition, fitness, stress management, and other aspects of holistic health.
Ability to build rapport and establish trust with individuals seeking support.
Excellent organizational skills to plan and coordinate wellness activities.
Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to coaching and counseling.
Proficiency in using technology for virtual coaching sessions and program management.
