The Village Parlor in Lebanon, OH is looking for a couple of guest service people (soda-jerks!) to join our 20+ person strong team. We are located on 22 S Broadway Street. Our ideal candidate has a need for flexibility in their schedule and is willing to learn a variety of skills within The Parlor. We have historically employed a large base of high schoolers who start with us when they are 16 and stay with us for 4-6 years thru college.
Employment is not exclusive to teens. We have had that pleasure of working with several adults over the years too. Great day job for stay at home parents looking to make a few extra bucks.
This is a tipped position. Base wage is $10.50 an hour with expected hourly tips of an additional $2.5-5 an hour on average. It can always be more, but this is the consistency we see in tips for the position. Upon mastering this position, movement into the Server role is typical. A position that garners $27.50-35 an hour.
