Job Description
We are seeking an Office Secretary / Administrator's Assistant to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success. We are a family owned Jewish funeral home, predominantly serving the metropolitan tri-state area, as well as any other in and out of state needs since 1953. Our ideal candidate is someone who is competent, reliable, hardworking, self-motivated, compassionate, and a team player, that has past experience working in an office setting, performing secretarial and administrative duties.
Job Requirements: Monday - Friday (9AM - 5PM)
Answer inbound telephone calls
Develop and implement organized filing systems
Greet and assist occasional onsite guests
Managing the company's EMail
Processing payments
Keeping inventory and managing office supplies
Creating files, documents, taking clients information & data entry
Maintain confidentiality of personal information
Perform all other office tasks
Qualifications:
Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Computer knowledge & skills
Customer service skills and the ability to handle requests and/or complaints in a professional manner
Experience in the funeral business is a plus, but not required

2 Weeks Paid Vacation, after one year.
Salary is negotiable, based on experience.
Contact with deceased persons is not required or necessary to perform job.
