Salary: $85,150 - 153,925 per year Requirements:

• We require a Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. However, additional years of experience may substitute for a degree. An active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory. You should possess a DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP. You should have 3 to 7 years of experience as an application developer at a journeyman level, with demonstrated skills in:
• Angular (front-end development)
• .NET and C# (back-end development)
• SQL Server (database development and optimization)
• Windows Services (design and maintenance)
• Additionally, familiarity with Agile software development methodologies, and strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, I will focus on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining application functionalities to support the USSOCOM J6 Budget Tool. I will implement responsive front-end interfaces using Angular and develop back-end services and APIs utilizing .NET and C#. My responsibilities will also include designing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures. I will work on developing and maintaining Windows Services for workflow automation and system integration.
• I will conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing, ensuring that applications comply with DoD cybersecurity and secure coding standards. Furthermore, I will support lifecycle management activities, which encompass requirements gathering, design documentation, deployment, and sustainment. Collaboration with government stakeholders, business analysts, and fellow developers will be necessary to meet mission requirements.

More:

Preferably, I would like to see experience with USSOCOM or DoD financial systems. Knowledge of DevSecOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks would be advantageous. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services, as well as the use of PowerApps/O365 environments, would be a plus. Experience working within DISA STIGs, RMF, and DoD cybersecurity compliance frameworks would also be beneficial.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is approximately $85,150.00 - $153,925.00. Please note that this salary range serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation.
