Job Description

Staffvengers is seeking a talented Event Planner to join our team. The Event Planner will be responsible for coordinating and executing a variety of events, ensuring they run smoothly from conception to completion. This role is perfect for someone who is creative, organized, and passionate about delivering memorable experiences.

The ideal candidate for this position:

• Has experience in event planning or a related field.
• Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking.
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Event Coordination: Plan and execute events, including meetings, conferences, weddings, and other special occasions. Handle all aspects of event preparation, from budgeting and venue selection to coordinating vendors and logistics.

• Client Liaison: Work closely with clients to understand their vision, needs, and expectations. Provide regular updates and ensure client satisfaction throughout the event planning process.

• Vendor Management: Source and manage relationships with vendors, including caterers, decorators, and entertainment providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure services are delivered as agreed.

• On-Site Management: Oversee events on the day, including problem-solving, directing event staff, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

• Post-Event Follow-Up: Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an Event Planner or similar role.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
