An Estate Planning Attorney with 2 years' experience is need in the Milwaukee area to join an organically growing law practice. This role is ideal for a dedicated attorney early in their career with a passion for providing personalized estate planning services and helping clients achieve their long-term financial and familial goals.
Estate Planning Attorney Responsibilities:
- Estate Planning Services: Develop and implement comprehensive estate plans, including wills, trusts, and other essential estate planning documents tailored to individual client needs.
- Client Consultation: Conduct in-depth meetings with clients to gain an understanding of their objectives, financial situation, and family dynamics, ensuring personalized and effective estate planning strategies.
- Lifetime and Post-Mortem Planning: Advise clients on lifetime gifting, charitable planning, and post-mortem strategies, ensuring their wishes are honored and tax liabilities are minimized.
- Trust and Probate Administration: Manage trust administration and probate proceedings, providing guidance through the legal process with efficiency and care.
- Legal Research and Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant legal changes in estate planning and tax law, providing clients with informed and current advice.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong client relationships with ongoing communication and support, adapting plans as client needs evolve.
Estate Planning Attorney Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Proven experience in estate planning, trust administration, or related legal areas.
- Active membership in the Wisconsin State Bar.
- Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
