Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Onsite  with our client in Irvine, CA.   Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• The Electronics Assembler is in charge of performing, within his / her area of technological specification, tasks in the manufacturing process in accordance with the manufacturing documentation and the time allocated, using the resources available (including conventional and/or digital machine tools) and inspects his / her own work.
• Works from assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions, and notes to assemble, wire and install a wide variety of components
• Identifies and selects components to be integrated into sub-assembly and assembly units
• Utilizes a wide range of tools including soldering iron
• Interfaces with PC to record job activities
• Know how to read and follow assembly work instructions including drawing assemblies and MAI (manufacturing assembly instructions)
• Flexible with jobs that can assist in other areas

• Hours: 40 hours/week

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years experience in electronic mechanical assembly (IPC-610 certification) and cabling and harnessing
• Minimum of 2 years of Prototype cable manufacturing experience (IPC-620 certification)
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Operating Computer to look up engineering EOs using local database
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Electronics manufacturing

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Soldering skills (IPC-610 certification)
• Ability to read and write English and understand verbal and written instructions
• Excellent Team player with proven ability to accomplish goals through collaboration
• Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and understand engineering revision nomenclature.

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

• The employee frequently is needed to stand, sit, and reach with hands and arms.  
• The employee is occasionally needed to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.    
• The employee must occasionally lift and move  up  to   15-30  pounds.   
• Specific vision abilities needed by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
