Duties: LI = 37% Drug testing required at onboard Payrate to the worker: (USD)22/hr Workweek will be Monday to Friday. May include OT during the week and weekend. Start time: 5:30AM Screening Questions to ask - please add answers to summary at rusme submittal: What types of units have you worked on (assembly, test or troubleshooting?) What types of hand tools and equipment have you used? How would you rate your ability to understand detailed prints and drawings on a scale of 1-5 (5 being the highest)? How have you utilized drawings in the past to produce units? What type of qualifications and certifications do you have or have had? What type of PPE (personal protective equipment) have you used? We're looking for strong mechanical assembly with building cables and harnesses experience. We do not perform any soldering in our Production. Minimum Requirements: 3 to 5 years of experience in electronic mechanical assembly and/or cabling and harnessing Ability to read and write English and understand verbal and written instructions Excellent Team player with proven ability to accomplish goals through collaboration minimum HS Diploma/GED Please make sure your candidates are prepared if selected for an interview: - know the shift - prepared to talk about their relevant experience - understand this is a temp position only (will not convert) - this is onsite work only (not remote) The Electronics Assembler III is in charge of performing, within his / her area of technological specification, tasks in the manufacturing process in accordance with the manufacturing documentation and the time allocated, using the resources available (including conventional and/or digital machine tools) and inspects his / her own work. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Works from assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions, and notes to assemble, wire and install a wide variety of components Identifies and selects components to be integrated into sub-assembly and assembly units Utilizes a wide range of tools including soldering iron Interfaces with PC to record job activities Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and understand engineering revision nomenclature Know how to read and follow assembly work instructions including drawing assemblies and MAI (manufacturing assembly instructions)
Skills: Minimum Requirements: 3 to 5 years of experience in electronic mechanical assembly and/or cabling and harnessing Ability to read and write English and understand verbal and written instructions Excellent Team player with proven ability to accomplish goals through collaboration Flexible with jobs that can assist in other areas Adequate Computer knowledge to look up engineering EOs using local database and other required documentation prior to starting a job Prototype cable manufacturing experience (IPC-620 certification) Mechanical assembly (IPC-610 certification) Soldering skills (IPC-610 certification) a plus Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee frequently is required to stand, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15-30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Education: One year certificate from college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
